A fine high quality example of an Edwardian cut glass and silver mounted claret jug. The silver has the hallmark for Birmingham 1905 and the makers mark H & T for Hillard and Thompson who were renowned silversmiths in Birmingham from the middle of the 19th century. It stands 30cm (12 Inches) in height. The condition is very good, no chips to the glass and no looseness in the silver mounting. Can you imagine how magnificent this piece would look in your dining room with a fine claret inside it!! The price includes insurance, postage and packaging. £1200.00 SOLD |
