A sparkling 15ct gold, silver set Victorian star burst brooch. The centre set with a deep red ruby. The 12 star points are set with 26 old cut diamonds. The brooch measures 3.5 cm across. The pin which is fitted with a safety catch can be unscrewed as the star would have been interchangeable with other items of jewellery such a diamond tiara.
