A stunning Victorian large silver locket together with a silver chain. The locket is decorated to the front with an engraved floral pattern, a rose gold bird and a yellow gold bird. The reverse is plain. On the inside of the locket there is glass to one side. This is because the locket was traditionally worn with hair under the class and a photo to the opposite side. It measures 4.5cm (1.75 inches) by 3.5cm (1.25 inches). The chain is 44cm (18 inches) in length. A delightful piece of history.
